In a small forest inside the city of Vallirana, Barcelona has been created a cultural space which serves for sports and leisure, and that is an island in town.

The cultural forest was created in tribute to Felix Alsina, a son of the city who was killed in the civil war and who was characterised by keeping in peace the neighbourhoods of the town under his responsibility.
